High pressure laminate on a poplar plywood core: the lightest board we make. A full 13mm sheet weighs about 23kg, against 37kg for 18mm birch ply, which is why it’s the popular choice for campervans and anything that gets lifted or moved. Any of our 750+ decors, in 4mm or 13mm.

Is this the “15mm lightweight ply” I’ve seen elsewhere?
It’s the board most sellers call 15mm. Ours is a 13mm poplar core that finishes at about 14.6mm with laminate on both faces. Check hinges and drawer runners against the finished thickness, not the core.
What it’s for
- Campervan cupboards, drawers, doors and overhead lockers: 13mm, the lightest board stiff enough for carcasses and doors.
- Wall and ceiling linings: 4mm laminated on one side, fixed flat to the van.
- Lift-out panels, bed boards and anything that gets moved regularly.
Overhead lockers
Light enough to hang from the walls and roof.
CNC-cut van kits
Every panel nested and cut from your drawing.
The board itself
A poplar core, laminated both faces so it stays flat.
Where a board carries people, like a bed or seat base, use birch ply instead. It’s heavier but much stronger.
Why we laminate both faces
A board with laminate on one face only tends to bow, so we press both faces as standard. The exception is 4mm lining fixed flat to the van.
Campervans
See our campervan furniture boards for a full board guide and the van favourites, or send your drawing and we’ll cut the whole kit.
