Send us a cutting list and we’ll press the boards in your decor, nest your parts on whole sheets and cut them on our CNC router in Plymouth. You get finished panels, not full sheets to get home and cut yourself.

How it works

  1. Pick your decor and core. Samples are free if you want to see it first.
  2. Send your cutting list to contact@uklaminating.co.uk.
  3. We nest the parts and send a quote with the sheet layout. Once you say go, we press and cut.
  4. Collect free from Plymouth or we deliver across mainland UK, usually two weeks from order.

What to put on your cutting list

  • Length and width of each part in mm, and how many
  • The board: decor, core, thickness, and laminated one side or both
  • Which edges need banding
  • Which way the grain runs, on woodgrain decors
  • Any holes, cut-outs or handle recesses. A DXF is best for these.

Plain colours can be turned to fit more parts on a sheet. Woodgrains can’t, because the grain has to run the right way, so they sometimes need an extra sheet.

Why have it cut here

CNC router cutting campervan kit panels

Clean edges

Laminate chips easily on a site saw. Our CNC router cuts it clean, in the same building where the board is pressed.

CNC-cut laminated panels stacked ready for delivery

Fewer sheets

Your parts are nested across the whole job, so you buy fewer sheets. The offcuts are yours if you want them.

Dark woodgrain laminated worktop with edge banding

Edged in the same job

We band the edges colour matched to the decor, so parts arrive ready to fit. See edge banding.

Got your own boards?

We’ll cut those too: plain ply, MDF, worktops, plastics and more. Send the sizes and tell us what the material is.

What people use it for

Campervan furniture, fitted furniture doors and shelves, and shopfitting and display panels. For profiles, curves and pockets, see CNC cutting and machining.

Questions

Can I order just a few parts?

Yes. You pay for the whole sheets they come out of, and the offcuts are yours.

How much does it cost?

Every job is priced from its cutting list. Send it over and we’ll quote, with a sheet layout showing how the parts fit.

Can you cut from a drawing?

Yes. A DXF or DWG is best for holes, cut-outs and curves. We can work from a sketch too, though it takes longer and we’ll say so on the quote.

Send your cutting list

Email it to us with the decor, core and thickness, and we’ll come back with a quote and a sheet layout.
