We cut on our own machines, in the same building where the sheets are pressed. That matters more than it sounds — a laminated panel that has moved between two firms has usually been handled four times too many, and laminate edges chip.
Send a cutting list or a CAD file and we will cut to it: straight cuts, area clears, nested parts, pockets, chamfers, drill patterns and profile routing. We can work from a drawing or a sketch if that is what you have, though it takes longer at our end and we will say so when we quote.
We machine wood laminates, plastics, worktops and GRP as well as our own laminated board, and we can produce flat panels cut to any shape — which is what makes it work for campervan conversion kits and fitted furniture.
J-Pull handle recesses we machine in a single operation, groove and reverse rebate together, so there is no second setup and no chance of the two references not lining up.
The CAD and CAM work is done here too. If you have a shape in mind rather than a drawing, we can work it up with you instead of sending you away to have it drawn first.
Two practical things. We work in whole sheets and round up, so it pays to send the whole job rather than piecemeal — parts nest better across a longer list. And you have paid for the full sheet, so the offcuts are yours if you want them; say so when we quote and we will keep them back for you.
Normal turnaround is two weeks from order. Collection from Langage Industrial Estate is free, or we deliver across mainland UK.
