Twenty-eight browns, running from terracotta and clay through to deep earth. Formica 8140 Brick, 8141 Adobe and 8241 Earthenware are the warm, clay-toned end. 5342 Earth and 8751 Mojave are softer and more neutral.
The Brush decors sit apart from the rest — 7106 Oxide Brush, 7107 Comet Brush and 7108 Saturn Brush have a fine brushed metallic texture running through them rather than a flat colour. They catch the light differently as you move past, and they work well on a single feature panel where a flat brown would look dull.
Browns are an under-used range and they are often the right answer where an oak decor is the obvious one — you get the warmth without committing to a grain direction, which makes the cutting simpler and the offcuts more usable.
