Every board is pressed to order. Most orders are delivered within 7 to 14 working days, and in many cases we are faster. If you are working to a deadline, contact us before ordering and we will confirm current lead times.
Sample requests are free, allowing you to view our products and assess their quality before purchasing. Please note that samples are of the laminate only and are not bonded to a board — you will receive a piece of the decorative laminate to check colour, finish and texture.
All laminated boards are made specifically for your order and are not held in stock. Because of this, orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once materials have been ordered or production has begun. Please see our full Terms and Conditions for more details.
What it is. HPL stands for high-pressure laminate: layers of kraft paper and a printed decorative face, fused under intense heat and pressure into one dense, hard-wearing sheet. We bond it to a lightweight plywood or MDF core here in Plymouth, so your board arrives finished — no sanding, staining, varnishing or sealing.
Why it beats other laminates. Because the surface is cured under pressure, HPL shrugs off knocks, scratches, spills and daily cleaning far better than melamine board or delicate veneers. It keeps its colour and stands up to real life — which is why it is trusted in kitchens, commercial fit-outs and campervan interiors alike.
