Forty-one greens. The muted, greyed-off ones do the most work — Formica 8793 Green Slate, 8237 Fir, 8796 Algae and 7879 Dusty Jade all sit quietly next to timber and brass. The brighter end, 7897 Spectrum Green and 8820 Leaf Green, is for when you want the panel to be the thing people notice.
Green has come back strongly in kitchens and van interiors over the last few years, and it is one of the few colours that looks right against both pale birch and dark walnut, which makes it forgiving to design around.
A word on the bright greens: they are the ones customers most often regret at full size. A colour that reads as a confident accent on a sample card can be overwhelming across four square metres of cupboard front. If you're using one, it's worth ordering the sample and taping it up at the size you're actually planning.
