Forty-nine blues, from soft and dusty through to deep marine. Formica 8822 Denim and 7884 China Blue are the muted end. 7914 Marine Blue and 7851 Spectrum Blue are the strong ones. 8242 Night Sea sits nearly at black.
Blue is the colour campervan builders ask for most after grey and wood, usually as an accent — a bank of cupboard fronts, a bulkhead, the inside of a locker against a birch carcass.
Worth knowing: strong blues shift more than any other colour under artificial light. A blue chosen under the workshop fluorescents can look quite different under the warm LEDs that end up in a van. If the build is lit that way, judge the sample under the lighting it will actually live with, not in daylight.
